Monterey with Kiki

Had so much fun with Kiki. I love one-on-one time with my kids when I get the chance to have it. It's rare and so precious. Kiki and I headed off to Monterey early Thursday morning for our fun adventure. We started off at Lover's Point which I highly recommend to anyone going to the Monterey Bay area. We then went over to Point Pinos to check out the tide pools and Kiki practiced pitching to me. After the beaches we headed over to Cannery Row - first stop Dipping Dots. We then went to every candy store Cannery Row has (there are approximately five). We picked out some souvenirs for Makena and Joey, and also of course for Kiki. We had lunch overlooking the ocean and played some more down by the water. Eventually we grabbed our sleeping bags and pillows from the car and headed to the Aquarium where we got to spend the night sleeping with the sharks. We had such a fun time, a trip we'll never forget! Although all of us parents complain every year about this field trip, it really is the best trip ever. No sleep but that's okay, Who needs sleep!
